The Swedish Exhibition Centre welcomes all to Wood Fusion. Wood Fusion is an event focusing on wood as source of inspiration and material for new applications.
“Putting wood in the spotlight?” Yes, this is no exaggeration, since today’s flood of new materials might make us forget the qualities and (unused) opportunities of materials we already know. Earlier, I lectured on the fusion of materials and design and fully agree with their statement saying that a chair is not just something to sit on but a fusion of several parts, materials and creativity.
Wood Fusion takes place at the Swedish Exhibition Centre in Göteborg from 27-30 August. See www.woodfusion.se for more information on the exhibition and presentations.
