If “reduce, reuse, recycle” is music to your ears then check out the RecyclingDesignpreis. Design students and professional designers with sustainable design ideas and a can participate with creatives and designers are invited to submit their works and concepts.
The 2nd edition of this competition is organized by the Recyclingboerse and will host an award ceremony on 3rd October 2008. Selected submissions will be showcased at the MARTa Herford museum.
Going for the first prize? Keep in mind that the jury is keeping an eye on: quality of design, practical value, feasibility (also with physically or psychologically handicapped people, in youth workshops or initiatives of employment), environmental safety, innovation and potential for the future.
